There is also a restaurant, a mini-market and a hairdresser on the premises. Unwind in our cosy holiday cottage in the Odenwald – the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature. Our own electricity generated by the solar panels on the roof, cosy warmth from our wood-burning stove, a cellar for bikes and a terrace with a charcoal barbecue and fire pit are what make our cottage so special. Allemühl is idyllically situated in the valley. Eberbach and Heidelberg are within easy reach. It’s the perfect starting point for hiking along the Neckarsteig and trail cycling in the Eberbach cycling region. The Sinsheim Thermal Baths & Water Park isn’t far away either. Allemühl Holiday Cottage – a house all to yourselves! You’ll have the cottage entirely to yourselves – ideal for a peaceful break in the countryside. It comprises a living-dining area with a kitchenette and a sofa bed for 1–2 people (approx. 1.20 × 1.95 m). As well as a cosy stove (wood included), you’ll also find a flat-screen TV there. There’s fast Wi-Fi, of course – also suitable for working. In the bedroom, there’s a double bed and another flat-screen TV waiting for you. Bed linen and towels are, of course, included. The bathroom is fitted with a rain shower. Outside, you can use a Weber charcoal barbecue and a fire pit. We’re happy to provide charcoal and firewood. In the cellar, there’s space for your bikes and plenty of sockets for charging e-bike batteries. There you’ll find drinks, including chilled ones, and a washing machine. Allemühl is situated in a peaceful valley in the small Odenwald region and is surrounded by plenty of nature. Walking trails start in the vicinity of the cottage, including the well-known Neckarsteig. Mountain bikers will find varied trails in the ‘Bikeländ Eberbach’ area, and the Neckar Valley Cycle Route is also beautiful. The lovely old towns of Eberbach, Bad Wimpfen and Heidelberg are all within easy reach. The Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim is also a popular nearby destination. Ideal for a long weekend in the Odenwald – many guests stay for 3–4 nights to combine hiking, cycling and mountain biking in Bikeländ Eberbach with a visit to Heidelberg and a day of relaxation at the Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim. It is spread over two floors and is not wheelchair accessible. The bedroom, bathroom and toilet are on the upper floor and can only be accessed via a flight of stairs. Due to the building’s original design, some doorways are lower than is standard today. Note for families with young children: Babies and toddlers are very welcome. However, no baby or toddler equipment (e.g. cot, changing facilities) is provided. You must bring any necessary equipment with you. Furthermore, the staircase does not have a safety gate for small children. Enjoying the outdoors: The terrace and the view of the countryside are perfect for breakfast, relaxing or a cosy barbecue evening. Hydrangeas, lavender and window boxes enhance the cosy, rural atmosphere. Nature & places to visit: Halenbach is situated in the Southern Eifel, surrounded by woods, rolling hills and numerous walking and cycling trails. Belgium and Luxembourg are also not far away and are perfect for a day trip. This makes the Eifel Refugium an ideal base for exploring the Eifel and the ‘Dreiländereck’ – whilst also being a place where you can simply do nothing for a change. 🌿
