When is the best time to visit Bali and Indonesia?
Much of Indonesia has a dry season roughly from May to October and a wetter season from around November to April, though patterns vary by island. In Bali, the dry months bring clearer skies and calmer seas, which suits beaches, surfing and diving. May, June and September are often a good balance of pleasant weather and smaller crowds, while July and August are the busiest and priciest. The wet season can still be a good-value time for a relaxed stay. Always check current forecasts before you travel.
