Kastro is on Ampelonon, the vineyard road that runs down from Pissouri village to the bay. The house keeps no website of its own beyond a Facebook page, so nothing is written here about the kitchen.
What the hours show is a restaurant run the traditional way, in two sittings rather than straight through: midday to half past three, then a break, then six to nine in the evening. That is the Cypriot pattern and it means the afternoon is genuinely closed — arriving at half past four will find the door shut, which catches out visitors used to all-day service on the resort strips.
It is closed on Thursday. Every other day of the week runs the same two sittings, including Sunday.
The evening service ends at nine, which is early for the eastern Mediterranean and early for Cyprus in particular. A table at half past seven is a safer plan than one at half past eight.
Pissouri is split between the old village on the Cape Aspro ridge and Pissouri Bay below, a crescent of sand and pebble under white cliffs that holds a Blue Flag for water quality. Ampelonon connects the two, so this address is on the way between them — walkable downhill from the village and a stiff climb back, which is why most people drive it. Parking on the road is free and easy outside July and August.
