Konoba Griblja

Konoba Griblja occupies a traditional stone building on Trg Ruševac in Sukošan, close to the waterfront. The interior draws on Dalmatian household objects and handwork, while a fireplace and a summer terrace give the restaurant different settings through the seasons. The kitchen, associated with chef Braco Sanjin, brings a contemporary approach to regional ingredients and recipes.

The menu gives seafood several distinct roles. A meal can begin with marinated Adriatic sardines, scampi pâté or tuna tartare. One especially characteristic dish is cuttlefish trisotto, combining barley, wheat and rice. Homemade tagliatelle with scampi, dried tomato and pistachio offers another route, while the fish section includes grilled squid, tuna steak and shellfish preparations.

For a shared main course, ask about gregada, the fish stew offered for two. There are also meat dishes, including lamb chops and beef steak served with a varenik-based sauce, almond purée and grilled courgette.
