Restaurant Admiral – Marina Novi

Admiral is the restaurant at Marina Novi, with a covered terrace looking towards Krk on one side and Novi Vinodolski's old town on the other. The kitchen draws on the Croatian coast while offering enough variety for guests arriving from a day on the water or meeting for dinner in town. Indoor tables provide an alternative when the terrace is less appealing.

Seafood choices include black cuttlefish risotto, scampi risotto, prawns with pljukanci pasta and grilled squid with chard. A whole grilled sea bass is offered for two, while wild fish depends on availability. Tuna steak comes with ratatouille vegetables, and crispy octopus is paired with mashed potato and spicy mayonnaise. These are useful starting points for a meal built around the sea.

The menu extends to beef tartare, steaks, burgers and several pizzas. Vegetarian choices include four-cheese gnocchi, while a vegan bowl combines seasonal vegetables, couscous, smoked tofu and a tahini-orange dressing. For dessert, consider pancakes, the daily cake or a sweet selection for two. Guests who need gluten-free pasta or bread should ask the team before ordering.

The wine selection includes Pavlomir, a producer closely connected with the nearby Vinodol vineyards. Admiral also accommodates celebrations and organised groups, with seating both inside and under cover outside. Contact the marina restaurant directly to reserve a table and discuss any group meal. Confirm kitchen times if planning an early arrival or a late dinner.
