Restaurace Ryzlink

Restaurace Ryzlink sits below Svatý kopeček in Mikulov, in the grounds of Hotel Ryzlink and the family’s Fučík winery. The historic center is about a ten-minute walk away. Its cooking brings modern techniques to regional flavors, using seasonal ingredients from local suppliers and an herb and vegetable garden of its own. Wine pairing is central to the experience, with the winery’s bottles chosen to accompany individual dishes.

The autumn menu moves from fallow deer tartare with plum, horseradish and walnut to roasted beetroot with whipped curd, chili and dill. Main courses include guinea fowl with creamy buckwheat, Brussels sprouts and grapes, and pikeperch with white bean cream and a foam made from vine leaves. A pumpkin dumpling filled with smoked celeriac and black garlic provides a vegetable-centered alternative. For dessert, there are rum buns with vanilla sauce and forest fruit, or quince baked in fortified Pálava wine with kefir semifreddo and hazelnuts.

Guests can also come simply for a glass of wine. Public and private tastings and winery tours offer a closer introduction to the Fučík wines. Covered outdoor seating looks toward Svatý kopeček; glazing encloses the space in winter. Families have a children’s menu, a play corner and an outdoor playground in the enclosed garden. Parking is available on site, and the restaurant provides free Wi-Fi. Tables can be booked online or by phone, including arrangements for group dinners and celebrations.
